He was predeceased by: his parents, Caesar Brewington and Alice Brewington; and his siblings, Linda D. of Washington and Wandell Brewington. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Whitfield Brewington; his children, Shakisha Brewington of New Braunfels and Raymond Whitfield of France; his siblings, Mae Helen Brown, Barbara Harrington of Dunn and Everett Brewington of Erwin; and his grandchildren, Pierre, Cordierre and Skylar Wilson. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association.
