He was predeceased by: his parents, Zula Chance and AB Chance; his wife Kathy Jackson Chance; his siblings, Lottie, Alease, Addie, Floyd, Steven, Roy, Freddie and Johnny Chance; and his niece Susie Hodges.
He is survived by: his son Kevan Chance (Stacey) of Norwood; and his grandson Jackson Chance of Norwood.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skinner & Smith Funeral Home (905 Erwin Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sansom Community Church (2896 Arrowhead Rd, Dunn, NC 28334).
