He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Jackson and Gennie Best Jackson Britt; his sister Lynette Jackson; his brother-in-law Curtis Jackson; his brother Gary Britt; and his sister-in-law Betty Lou Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McLamb Jackson; his son Billy Arthur "Art" Jackson (Morgan) of Wallace; and his brother Delma Earl Jackson of Goldsboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
