Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her son John Ellis Covington (Judy Ann) of Dunn, NC; her siblings, Charles Williams of Dunn, NC, Martha "Sue" Wiley of Dunn, NC and Maxine Anderson of Dunn, NC; and her granddaughter Christel Edwards. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; special caregiver, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel - Dunn (707 E Edgerton St, Dunn, NC 28334). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
