She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Cleve Lester McNeill; her son Cleveland Angelo McNeill; and her parents, Marena Spencer and Thaddeus Spencer. She is survived by: her friend Andrea McNeill; her daughters, Decherlyanne Johnson and Andrea Denise McNeill; her siblings, Minister Barbara Spencer, Rena Seymore, Mary Thomas (Major) and Rev. Johnny Spencer (Nadine); her siblings-in-law, Clara Brown (Clary), Alberta McKoy (Aaron), Martha McNeill, Marie McNeill, Hattie Mae Smith, Dorothy McNeill and John T. McNeill; and her grandchildren, Tyrone, Tiona Hayes, Taliesha, Kaechaun Johnson and Shatea McNeill. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
