With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertie Edwards Stewart of Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Richard Edwards and Velma Sexton Edwards of Lillington, NC.; her husband Charles L. Stewart of Buies Creek, NC.; her sister Laura Mae Edwards Girard; and her son-in-law Frank Clamon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Eldridge (Harvey) of Dunn and Janice Stewart of Dunn; her grandsons, David Clamon (Sophie) of Alexandria, VA and Alexander Clamon (Negar) of Redondo Beach; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Cora Mae, Susanna Rose and Edward James Stewart of Alexandria, VA.; her nieces, Sonja White (Walt) of Charlotte, NC and Joyce Stewart (Larry) of Angier, NC; and her nephew Stephen Girard (Ronda) of Richmond, VA..
