She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Barbara McDaniel Smith; her husband Frank Benge; and her siblings, Emily Woods, Keith Smith, Mike Dunson, Ilene McLemore and Donna Gaye Dunson.
She is survived by: her sons, John Baker (Kim) of Autryville, NC, Jerry Baker (Linda) of Eastover, NC and James Brown (Crystal); her grandchildren, J. Baker (Jessica) of Autryville, NC, Jordyn Baker Hubbard (Michael), JC Brown, Cody Baker (Brittany) of Wade, NC and Samantha McPhail (William) of Autryville, NC; her great grandchild Sofia Baker; and her siblings, Kay Matthews, Wayne Smith and Rev. Stevie Sinclair (Barbara).
