She is survived by: her children, Caron Latimer (Kevin) of Angier and Bobby Pope of Wake Forest; her brother Ray Upchurch of Erwin; her grandchildren, Jake Strickland (Ashley), Anna Johnson (Dwight) and R. J. Dansereau; and her great grandchildren, Cash, Cage Strickland, Mileigh Matthews, Mason, McKenzie and Beau Johnson.
