He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Weeks and Laura Hunter Weeks; his wife Peggy Taylor Weeks; and his brothers, James Ray Weeks and Jerry Weeks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charla Jones (Curtis) and Tracy Taylor (Jason); his grandchildren, Matt Jarman (Amanda), Alanna Jones (Tony), Hunter Weeks Jones, Mary Taylor Jones, Tori Brooke Schaefer (Corbett) and Darian Friend; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Madilynn, Emmalynn, Patrick and Elijah; his close friend Dorothy Burke; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Smith, Scott Smith (Kimberly), Neil Weeks (Melinda), Terry Wayne Weeks (Trudy) and Kim Weeks.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A reception was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
