He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lambert Morris Sutton and Barbara Tate Sutton; his brother Lambert Rahn Sutton (Wanda Davis Sutton) of Raleigh, NC; his nieces, Kyleigh Sutton Albrecht (Josh) of Denver, CO and Catherine Reid Sutton of Boston, MA; his nephew Grayson Rahn Sutton of Raleigh, NC.; his aunt Peggy Sutton Brewer of Faison, NC; his uncles, Gerald Warren of Newton Grove, NC and Roger Tate of Danville; and his cousins, Tina Brewer Bernhardt (David), Todd Brewer (Michelle), Brandon Warren (Mandy), Bartley Warren (Amy), Jo Ann Poteat, Pam Davis (Kevin), Renee'Shumate (Melvin), Tamara Gill (Eric) and Doug Liggon (Veronica).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Virginia Tech Hokie Club Hokie Scholarship Fund, American Diabetes Association or a favorite charity of one's choice.
