It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Alexander Ooten Jr. of Dudley, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jerry, David Ooten and Joyce Smith. He is survived by: his son Robert Alexander Ooten III; his brother Douglas (Cheryl) of Dudley, NC; his aunt Edna McFarland of Goldsboro, NC; his uncle Walter Howard Jones of Dudley, NC; and his cousin Sandra McFarland of Goldsboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
