He was predeceased by: his parents, James Munson and Eliza Hayward Munson. He is survived by: his children, Richard Munson, Jr., Suzette Frances and Jodi Munson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Emmaus Baptist Church (700 Emmaus Church Rd, Dudley, NC 28333).
