He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Davis and Annie Kearney Davis; his wife Myrtle Newcomb Davis; and his brothers, Noah Lee Davis and Leo Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Davis, Angela Davis Head (Jerry) and Sherri Davis Creech (Brent); his grandchildren, Jason Davis (Beth), Donny Head Davey (Grace) and Easton Creech; his great grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Austin Smith, Landon Head, Greyson Head and Oakes Head; and his siblings, Robert Carroll Davis and Joyce Davis Creech.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Wayne Memorial Park.
