He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jimmie Eason and Durwood Eason; and his brother-in-law Brooks Marriner Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Norwood E. Eason Jr., Scott Eason (Karen) of South Carolina, Todd Eason (Beth) of Wilmington and Amanda Cwiakala (Chris) of Goldsboro; his sisters, JoAnn Marriner of Sleepy Creek and Sheila Davis (Billy) of Wilmington; his sister-in-law Sue Eason of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Chris Eason, Nicole Johnson (Ricky), Kate Eason, Parker Eason, Ivey Wade and Jade Cwiakala.
