It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona Best Gray (Dudley, North Carolina), who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman and Myrtle Worley Best; her husband Raymond Clifford Gray, Sr.; her grandson Brandon Raper; and her brothers, Tony Best and Norwood Best.
She is survived by: her children, Darla Raper (Alan), Cliff Gray (Dianne), Steve Gray (Debbie) and Jeff Gray (Delores); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Kevin), Stephanie Lane (Michael), Ryan Gray (Stephanie), Hy Gardner (Clay), Berry Gray (Crystal), Christopher Gray (Amanda), Sarah Beth Harris (Adam), Colby Raper (Melody), Taylor Gray (Heather) and Marianna Henson (Clint). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
