She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings Badin Duncan and Nettie Miles Duncan; and her husband Dr. Horace W. Ricks. She is survived by: her children, Emily Ricks Bell (Robert Bell) of Cary, Timothy Ross Ricks (Margarita Isabel Ricks) of Weston, FL and David Mark Ricks (Janice Reneau Ricks) of Frisco, TX; her grandchildren, Heather Bell Davis (Tripp), Alison Bell and Meredith Bell Hughes (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Anna, Eliza, Aubrey, Miles, Miller and Effie.
