She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Daly and Henrie Grady Daly; the father of her children Deloit Cotton; her husband Roy Mills; her stepsons, Wayne and Randy Mills; her grandchildren, Deloit Cotton Best, Jeremy Wayne Carlton and Sarah Elizabeth Carlton; and her sisters, Lorraine Price and Julia Daly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deane (Richard Best), Melinda Cotton Carlton and Julie (Bobby Joe Whitfield); her grandchildren, Hannah Daly Best, William David Best, Steven Alton Carlton, Rachel Lynn Carlton, Brittany, Jamie Williams and Jackson Shaw Whitfield; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Wayne Carlton, Hattie Adele Williams and Mayven Kate Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 US.
