She was predeceased by: her husband James Henry Parker, Jr.; her son Joseph W. Parker of Seven Springs; her parents, Joe Wade Cannon and Zada Cox Cannon; and her siblings, Oris Cannon, Joseph Mack Cannon, Margaret C. Daughtry, Mildred C. Midgette, Myrtle C. Joyner, Frances C. Swaney and Martha C. Butts.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Stowers of Surf City and Jimmy; her daughters-in-law, Darlene Parker of Nashville and Kaye J. Parker; her sisters, Reida Best of Goldsboro and Mabel Higgins of Spring Lake; and her grandchildren, Justina P. Smith, Janelle Parker, Jay Parker (Joelle Parker), Jessica Parker, Jennifer Bare (Chuck), Josh Outlaw, Amos Parker (Joy Beth), Joseph Jackson Parker, Suzanne Taylor (Clay), Victoria Zell (Alan), Ramana Thomas (Travis), LaMar Ray (Keri) and Scott Ray (Melanie). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
