He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Kornegay; and his nephews, Maurice Kornegay and Jahlil Teachey. He is survived by: his daughter Evony Neal; his mother Bernice Whitfield of Dudley, NC; his siblings, Larry Kornegay (Glenda), Brenda Hobbs of Goldsboro, NC., Patricia Kornegay Brown (Derrick Brown) of Goldsboro, NC. and Cynthia Kornegay of Goldsboro, NC.; his grandchildren, DeRonne, Diamond, Diallo and Dashanti Miller; and his great grandchildren, Camron and Darius Miller. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
