He is survived by: his children, Amy Ham (Tim), Marcie McLaurin (Steven), Kenny Ray Godfrey (Nancy), Dale Eugene Godfrey, Angel Dawn Pollock, Donald Holland, Renee Jackson and Quinton Lee Powell; his sisters, Evelyn White (Jerry) and Kaye Bedford (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Mackinzie Clarke (Joseph), Natalie Ham, Victoria McLaurin, Roslynn Elizabeth Morris (Hunter), James Winston Lynn, Sandra Raye Godfrey, Grace Ray Godfrey, Dustin Lee Jay Price, Dylan Price and Dale Eugene Godfrey, Jr.; and his great grandchild Heartley Elizabeth Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
