It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnnie Lee Medlin of Dudley, North Carolina, born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Elijah Lee; and his sister Joann Medlin Lane. He is survived by: his wife Wanda T. Medlin; his children, Johnnie Medlin Jr. of Magnolia, NC., Melissa G. Ovalle (Chris) of Goldsboro and Loveit Medlin of Greenville, NC.; his brothers, Jerry Medlin (Vicki) of Princeton, Dwight Medlin (Loretta) of Princeton and Ray Medlin (Rose) of Goldsboro; and his pet Bobbi Jo. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
