It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Williamson Jr. of Dudley, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Williamson, Sr. and Nancy Gibson Williamson; his wife Brenda Faye Brakeall Williamson; and his children, Phillip Allen Williamson, Kenneth Lee Williamson and Vicky Williamson D'Antonio.
He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie K. Williamson and Tina Williamson Woodard (Randy); and his grandchildren, Kristi Hansen Spellman, John Sousa, Marcus Williamson, Amber Williamson Ward, Amy Williamson, Ian Reid Hope and Joshua Alan Hope. He is also survived by his thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
