He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Rupe and Effie Cole Rupe; and his siblings, Rosalee Prevette, Donald Rupe, Shirley Rupe Wood and Deanna Rupe Dehm.
He is survived by: his children, Cecil Rupe of Iowa, Tony Rupe of Iowa, John Rupe (Iiona) of Germany and Carleigh Rupe of Excelsior Springs, MO; his siblings, James Rupe (Carolyn) of Lawson, MO and Peggy Rupe Carter of Dudley; and his sister-in-law Jannie Rupe of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
