He is survived by: his wife Lemy Davenport; his mother Linda Powers; his children, John "Rusty" Davenport, III and Letty Sungenis-Davenport (Austin); his siblings, Mel Powers, Jr. (Cheri), Steven Powers (Michelle), Lynna Chauncey (Steve), Stephanie Hanson (Eric) and Tanyau Benton (Sam); and his grandchild Ariela Ava Sungenis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
