She is survived by: her husband Gene Kornegay; her sons, Benjamin Lewis (Tracy) of Grantham and Currie Ross Kornegay; her siblings, Tim Howard of Grantham, Bobby Howard of Mt. Olive, Steve Howard (Linda), Danny Howard (Linda) of Little Washington and Carolyn Barfield (Timothy) of Snow Hill; and her grandchildren, Kelsy Lewis and Skylar Lewis.
