He was predeceased by: his father James Smith; and his son Dacole Simmons. He is survived by: his mother Mamie Smith Langston of Goldsboro; his son Ryan Benjamin Smith of Goldsboro; his sister Lisa Smith Mckeller of Richlands, NC; and his aunts, Maggie Thompson of Warsaw, Dorothy Smith of LaGrange and Ruby McKenzie of Goldsboro. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
