He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Leona Thompson Capps. He is survived by: his wife Rose Evans Capps; his children, Timothy Capps of Goldsboro, Kevin Capps of Goldsboro, Ronnie Thompson (Tania) of Mar Mac, David "Runt" Thompson (Tanya) of Grantham and Jennie Kornegay (Willie) of Grantham; his siblings, Richard Capps and Teresa Summerlin of Goldsboro; his pet Smokey; and his friend Kent Rivenbark. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
