He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Edwin and Alma Carter Horrell; his wife Anita W. Horrell; his siblings, Charles Barry Horrell and Bonnie H. Beacham; his son William "Bill" Rogers; and his son-in-law Michael Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin Edward Rogers (Marylu) of Leland and Karyn R. Moore of Goldsboro; his brother Grover Cleveland Horrell (Janet); his grandchildren, Jeremy Moore (Jessica), Blake Moore, Emily Moore, Julia Rogers, William Rogers and Steve Rogers; his great grandchildren, Willow, Aurora Moore and William Rogers; his son Alex; and also, Ricky and Michelle Carter.
