She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Jones and Mattie Pearce Jones; her husband Wyatt Ray Gurley; and her siblings, David Jones, Elvin Jones, Allene Harris, Rachel Allen, Otena Quinn, Myrtle Holland, Nellie Enciso and Linda Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Daniels (Donald Daniels) of Farmville, Dennis Gurley (Donna) of Goldsboro and Carlos Gurley (Beth) of Goldsboro; and her sisters, Vonnie Bailey of Kenly and Brenda Jones of Goldsboro. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
