It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Ray Mercer (Dudley, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Mercer and Lillian "Estelle" Evans Mercer; and his brother Marvin E. Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Vikki; his daughter Kate Leahy (Sean) of Clayton; his siblings, Janie Cockrell (Phil) of Wilson and Claude A. Mercer Jr. (Bertie) of Bailey; and his granddaughter Margaret "Maggie" Leahy.
Attendees are asked to wear a face covering, practice social distancing, and bring a chair, if needed.
