She is survived by: her son Jeff Strickland; her granddaughters, Hannah Hollingsworth (Jacob) and Nora Pennington (Matt); her great grandchildren, Lucas Hollingsworth, Charlotte Hollingsworth and Peyton Pennington; and her siblings, Ray Westbrook (Peggy), Gail Westbrook, Janice Best (R. A.) and Elaine Zullo.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Eureka Christian Church (2036 Dobbersville Rd, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A reception was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
