He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jordan Newsome and Helen Smith Newsome; and his wife Maxine Lane Newsome. He is survived by: his children, Kim Smith (Bobby) of Goldsboro and Mike Newsome (Beverly) of Matthews; his grandchildren, Lane Ward (Lauren), Logan Smith (Stetson), Jordan Newsome (Marlowe) and Anna Smith; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Jackson.
The family respectfully requests those attending the service to wear a face covering and practice social distancing measures.
