He was predeceased by: his parents, William Drew and Jennie Collins Hodnett; and his siblings, Jerry Hodnett, Earl Hodnett and Marie Hodnett.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Hodnett; his close friend Hilda; his daughter Tammy Bova (Jeff); his granddaughters, Heather McAlduff (Marty) and Kristen Faulk (Chris); his great grandchildren, Greyson Allen, Jonah Bartlett, Waylon Faulk and Harper Faulk; his niece Jerilynn Hodnett Jordan (Tim); his great-nieces, Danity and Landen Jordan; his brother-in-law William Gregory; his close friend Virginia Holmes; and his children, Deborah Callahan, Carlene Botkins, David Hodnett and Dana Sasser. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
