She is survived by: her daughter Carmin Melvin of Goldsboro; her sisters, Joanne Brown of Alabama, Joyce Turner of Princeton, Margie Knox of Goldsboro and Lanellan Smith of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Jody Ray Melvin, Jeremy Lee Melvin and Jina Rae Lee; and her great grandchild Kye Elliot Faison.
