He is survived by: his wife Iris Swinson; his children, Cynthia Cooley (Burt) of Dudley and Todd Swinson of Warsaw; his sister Carolyn Cobb (Dicky) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Tyler Cooley, Hannah Cooley and Alexis Swinson; and his close friend Bill Baker of Goldsboro.
