She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Darden and Rhodie Stevens Darden; her husband Clarence Barksdale; her sons, Antwain Darden of Raleigh and Ricky R. McCoy of Raleigh; her grandsons, Justin Darden of Raleigh and Devin Jones of Raleigh; her sister Bettie Goodman (Atlas) of Mt Olive; her sisters-in-law, Sadie Mae Darden, Janice Darden and Rebecca Darden; and her siblings, T. I., Willie, Leroy, Joe, Lewis, Milton, William, Linwood, Daniel, Beatrice, Norvella, Ethel and Betty. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
