"Gene" Tyson; her daughter Trish Monahan; her son-in-law Harry Monahan of Greensboro; her sons, William Scott Tyson of Dudley, Charles "Chuck" Tyson of Goldsboro and Kristian Brent Tyson of Goldsboro; and her sister Carolyn Zipf of Smithfield. She is also survived by two nieces; four grandchildren.
