She is survived by: her husband Jerry Allen "Shotgun" Carter; her children, Jerry Wayne Carter (Claudine Kitchen Carter), Vicky Carter Helm (Douglas), Terry Carter Jackson (Kenneth Jackson), Debbie Carter Howell (Tommy), Loretta Carter James and Kimberly Carter McCarthy (Dan); and her sisters, Eva Elaine Lee and Maxine Carol Person (Jack). She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
