He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Overton Cashwell Davis and Sylvester "June" Cashwell, Jr.; and his siblings, Glenn Cashwell, Sylvester "Rudy" Cashwell III and Mary Ann Cashwell Padgett.
He is survived by: his significant other Crystal Smith of Dudley; his daughter Tammy Rae Cashwell; his friend Terry Wynn of Dudley; his grandsons, Williams, Brandon Roa and Trae Roa; his brother Larry Cashwell of Calypso; and his cousin Jackie Rivenbark (Ann) of Goldsboro.
