She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Gibson and Nathan Wilbur Singletary, Sr. of Tar Heel, NC.; and her siblings, Nathan Singletary (Nymph), Roger Singletary, Althea Brisson and Minnie Howie.
She is survived by: her daughter Betsy Taylor Cain; her son-in-law Carlton; her granddaughters, Erin Cain Wall (Matt) and Samantha Dowdy (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Larson Elizabeth, Gabe, Chandler, Maddux and Millie; her friend Frankie Roberts; and her siblings-in-law, Louis Brisson, Bobby Howie and Almeda Taylor Singletary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
