It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Teachey (Dublin, North Carolina), who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Earl Teachey Sr. and Sally Selma Raynor; his uncle Byron Teachey (Alice); his aunt Maryann Teachey; and his cousins, Glenn Teachey and Faye Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy B. Teachey; his children, Michael Dowless (Lisa) of Hope Mills, Brad Dowless (Jody) of Dublin and Lori Gilmore (Michael) of Knoxville, TN; his brother Edwin Earl Teachey Jr. (Ann) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Gabrielle (Chance), Taylor (John), Matthew, Damien, Devan, Andrew, Chase and Keira; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Oliver, Tilly and Emmerie; his nephew Daniel Teachey (Stacy); his niece Angela Teachey; his cousin Glenda Kanner (Jamie); and also Price.
Burial will follow the services at the Teachey Cemetery (at the corner of Charity Rd and Hargrove Rd, about 4 ½ miles East of Rose Hill, 162 E Charity Rd., Greenevers, NC 28458). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Lake Church in memory of Roger Teachey, at 1930 White Lake Dr., White Lake, NC 28337 or on the website for The Lake Church.
