He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Garner and Eliza Melvin Garner; his daughter Laura Garner; and his sister Libby G. Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Rita "Molly" Singletary Garner; his daughter Liza; and his brothers, Jimmy Chinnis and Billy Garner. He is also survived by friends, and his beloved dogs.
