It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Bryan of Dublin, North Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bryan and Resser Munce Bryan; his wife Patricia Bryan; and his brother Leo Bryan. He is survived by: his children, Terry Bryan of Dublin, Sheila Smith (Thomas) of Little River, SC, Kimberly Shaw (Tony) of Whiteville and Melissa Prevatte (Brian) of Dublin; and his siblings, James Bryan (Brenda) of Dublin and Elsie Faye Stec of Dublin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bethel Baptist Church.

“We are so sorry to hear of O. E.‘s passing. My husband, Tim Bell worked with O. E. At Hendrick Toyota in Fayetteville and thought highly of him. He would always blow the horn as we passed the house on our way to the beach. We saw the flowers on the door this morning as we headed back from the beach. He was a fine man and will be missed.
