She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Beard and Emma Beard; and her siblings, Lillian Clark, Alma Britt, Walter Beard, Pauline Slaughter, Mary Wilkens and Ruby Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Brisson; her children, Thomas Brisson and Pam Taylor (Greg) of Dublin; her grandsons, Justin Taylor (Sarah Ann) of Raleigh, Derek Taylor (Mindy) of Raleigh and Nicholas Taylor of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Brisson Taylor, Miller Taylor, Anderson Taylor and Charlie Taylor; and her sons, Ronald Williamson and Bobby Williamson. She is also survived by twelve nieces, thirteen nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Angel House, Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
