He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Story, Sr. and Phyllis Smith Story; and his sisters, Patricia Story (Ray), Pam Story (Frieda) and Betsy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Phyllis Strider (Robert), Paula Rankin, Tina Livingston and Tammy Styer (Dave); and his wife Doris Blake Story. He is also survived by five nephews, three nieces, and five great-nieces and nephews.
