It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Louise Williams (Drexel, North Carolina), who passed away on September 3, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent John L. Rudecil; her husband Rufus Y. Williams; and her siblings, Ruth Rudecil Wise, Helen Scarborough, Neta Rudecil, Bill L. Rudecil and Clarence Rudecil.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Grady Rudecil; her sons, Micky Williams (Sybil) of Marion and John R. Williams (Carolyn) of Valdese; her grandchildren, Michelle Loesekann of Morganton, Mike L. Williams (Kim) of Valdese, Angela Simmons (Jeff) of Valdese and Robbie Williams (Aleisha) of Valdese; her great grandchildren, Michael L. Williams, III (Katherine), Ashley Williams, Josh Williams, Zachary Loesekann (Kasey), Britt Simmons, Emily Simmons, Marissa Williams and Peyton Harrison; her stepgranddaughter Tanya Raulerson (Paul) of Charlotte; her close friends, Candace Dietz of Raleigh and Jeffery Dietz of Raleigh; and also, Jessica and Aloma McNeely. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
