She was predeceased by: her parents, Esten Griffin and Nancy Buff Griffin; her daughter Brenda Baker Reid; her brother Emmitt "Alvin" Griffin; her half-brother William "Garland" Griffin; her sisters, Allene Duckworth and Beulah Lowman; her half-sister Annie Mae Watts; and her niece Judy Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Danny "Roger" Baker of Drexel and Martha Baker Cooke (Fred) of Drexel; and her nieces, Katherine Lowman Lawrence of Portsmouth, VA and Jane Duckworth of Glen Alpine. She is also survived by three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
