She was predeceased by: her husband John Uzzell; and her parents, Jessie Phillips and Hazel Grady Phillips. She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Taylor (Ron) of Kinston and April Manning (Dee) of Kinston; her sister Kathryn Lynn Whitley of Dover; and her pets, Precious, Sandy, Chunky Monkey and Minnie.
