He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edwin Tart and Julia Frances Tart; his brother Edwin Tart; and his former wife Rosa Renee Tart. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his daughter Jessica; his stepchildren, Thomas White, Jonathan White and Ashley Demas (Matthew); his sisters, Judy Tart and Sharon Edwards (Bud); his sisters-in-law, Patsy Tart, Kim Sutton and Marie Stocks; his nephews, Brian Edwards (Jenny), Matthew Edwards (Rachel) and Justin Tart (Marissa); his niece Beth Barnhill (Ti); and his grandson Levi Demas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lane's Chapel Church (12040 NC-55, Dover, NC 28526). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barry's memory to Lane's Chapel Church.
