She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Graham Daugherty and Margaret White Daugherty; and her sister Joann Whitfield. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Earl Riggs; her daughter Sandra Riggs Perry (Allen) of Washington; her grandchildren, Matthew Perry (Georgia) and Kelly Brady (Adam); her great grandchildren, Brycen Perry, Norah Brady and Cutler Brady; and her pets, Sam and Sue.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dover Methodist Church (208 N Main St, Dover, NC 28526).
